The next morning was warm, and sunny. The trees swayed in the breeze, and the chatter of small animals filled the air. Orion was inside the now-light den, where Zora lay I'm the conor, still in much pain. Orion had brought the forest cat back two times that night. He stood in the opening, making sure none came looking. Especially Luna, who he knew, would jump at the change to strike Zora wile she was down.

Zora had awoken to feeling much better, her wounds were healing quickly and her strength had returned. She padded silently up towards Orion, "Morning." She said quietly, smiling up at her friend. "Sleep well?" She asked, looking out into the sunny morning.

Orion greeted her with a nudge. The sun was high in the sky now, and the day was turning warmer. I slept fine, the cat came back two times last night, and said you were doing better. Orion glanced over to her, examining her healing wounds. How are you feeling?

Zora let out a sigh, relieved that she was on the mend, she sure felt a lot better. "I'm feeling stronger, much stronger." She whispered, "Orion." she said, speaking up more, walking in front of him and meeting his eyes, "You saved my life, I'm--I'm forever grateful." Zora slowly bowed her head, something that the prideful lioness never did. She did it when she was grateful, it was insignificant to some and important to others.

Orion was Honored, to have such a prideful, and self-dependent lion bow to him. Unsure of what to do, he bowed back. I'm just grateful that you lived. Not many survive falls like like--you're really something special. He told her. Orion paused. You know, you'll make a wonderful queen one day, if you ever settle down.

Zora looked up and smiled, "You're words make my heart swell." Her hid the shame of her, uh, condition in that smile. "You'll be a loving king, Orion." She whispered, her ears flicking from left to right, listening the the forest sounds behind her.

Thank you. Orion replied, his voice sincere. Outside, the sun was sinking. It wasn't setting, but it would be dark in a few hours. Orion smelt a buck, not far, and his tummy growled. Are you hungry?

Zora shrugged, "Not very much." She laughed lightly, "You're gonna make me fat, Orion with all the delicious food you've been catching." She looked over her shoulder, longing to be apart of the forest once again, "But I'd love to go for a walk. I'll tag along until we get close enough to what you're hunting."

Orion nodded, and slipped out of the cave, making sure that no one was around. Ok, it's just through these trees, and across the log. He said, looking over his shoulder. Zora wasn't far behind.

Zora trailed close behind her friend, silently padding through the forest, slipping under fallen trees, avoiding certain invisible trails. It felt good to be out and back into the active forest.

Orion walked carefully, so that he didn't scare away his pray. But some other smell was present. It smelt like a lioness, but was masked partially by another lion. Everything fell into place. Just as he figured this out, a sleek, white, lioness, came leaping from the trees.

Luna quickly pushed past Orion and went straight for Zora. Both lionesses met each other in the air, claws out, teeth bared and roars shaking the very air.
Luna wasn't much of a fighter but she fierce and wasn't scared to use cheep shots towards Zora, her most hated and bitter enemy. Zora would normally have Luna flat on her back, screaming for help but she was still weak from her fall, so Zora tried to gain the upper paw quickly as she ruthlessly swiped and snapped at any part of Luna she could, a chorus of snarls and growls scaring anything within a few miles away from the battle.

Orion didn't even think. He went strait for Luna, growling low, and loud. From pure brought streangh, Orion managed to pull the two apart. Orion didn't want to actually damage the lioness, as she had a powerful mate, but wanted to scare her out of her mind. He snarled, and showed his teeth. Now, it was him and Luna, one on one.

Zora roared with anger, how dare Luna attack her on such cheep grounds. She lunged at her enemy and she and Luna ripped at each other's flesh. Orion quickly intervened, allowing Zora to recover. Luna let out a scream of a roar and tried to get past the frightening tiger, she wanted to fight Zora. She realized it was no used And backed up slowly

Orion eyed Luna closely, watching her every move. I would leave wile you still have a chance, Luna. He said, intimidating her. And besides, you wouldn't want me to tell Dolmio about what you tried to do. Orion was now right in from of Zora, so if Luna tried to attack again, she'd have to go through him.
