((Don't worry. No big deal ?, I'll be slow with replies. I'm on my phone.)) Orion felt kind of stupid, crying on front of Zora. Actually, he felt stupid crying at all. In a slightly happier tone, Orion answered. Yeah, I have a den, a tree by in the heart of my territory. And my territory runs from that river, to the edge of the Forrest. He smiled, waving his tail friendly like.

"Mind showing me around?" Zora asked with a smile. She wanted to see how her friend was doing. With a large territory and a handsome tiger protecting it--what tigress could resist?

Ok He smiled. How about I start by the river? Orion walked at a steady speed on the river bank, spraying every so often, just to make it know that this territory was his. He pointed out little land marks, like a bend in the river, that had a fallen tree. At the edge of the river part of the territory, Orion noted a tree. His tree. And this is my den He said, with a happy face. Strange, I know.

Zora was impressed by the size of her friend's territory. "It's amazing." She said in awe. She walked over to the den and sniffed around, seeing that it was very interesting den. "I've never seen one like this before." She remarked, smiling warmly at him.

Thanks, I can see most everything from here. He smiled warmly. He swung his front paw in front of him, making a line in the dirt. He was a little worried that she didn't like what she saw.

Zora leaped up into the tree, silently climbing higher and higher. The sun began to warm her fur and the breeze felt cooler as she went up further onto the weaker branches. She only stopped when she knew the tree could no longer hold her. She let out an awed sigh at the view. Mile and miles of forest and sky. Zora in hailed deeply, enjoying the smell of the air. "Gorgeous." She whispered, feeling the urge to never leave the tree--ever.

Orion followed a bit behind. He noted every oo-and-Ahh that Zora made. He didn't go all the way up, though. The tree could never support them both at the top. But from a few branches down, Orion called up, beautiful, isn't it? He took in the scenery, and a breath of the fresh air.

"It's breath taking." Zora answered, inhaling deeply, a grin spread across her face. "I could look at it for hours and hours on end."

Zora wanted climb a bit higher, and silently dared herself to leap only a few branches up. The branch she landed on began to crack and she leaped up one higher, her claws digging into the bark as she dangled there above the broken limb. Her claws slipped and she fell. The dark lioness sucked in a sharp breath of air and began to fall backward, her back connecting with a thick branch, knocking the wind out of her. Zora gasp for breath as she slid off another branch and began to fall further down the tree, the forest floor flying towards her faster and faster.

Orion snapped out of his sleep when he heard the branches cracking above him. He was leaping from the braches, trying to get to the ground first. It seemed as if the ground could be miles away. He couldn't see Zora, but knew that she wasn't hitting more braches, because the cracking stopped. he sprinted, muscles flexed, and agile body descending the tree limbs. He reached the mossy ground, in time to see Zora, lying on the ground.

Zora's body was cut, bruised and bloody. The last group of branches had broken her fall but had caused her some external damage. She lay there, not moving and unconscious but alive.

Orion moved as if in a nightmare. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. He came over to her body, and felt her shallow breathing. She was hurt badly. He swore, but remained calm. Zora? Zora!? Can you herea me! I am taking you to get help, ok? He was frantic, distraught, and scared that his friend may not make it.
