Zora sat there and considered it for a moment. "You know, that's not a bad idea." She smiled and gave Orion and friendly nuzzle on the shoulder. "Thanks so much." She laughed lightly, "I can't wait to see her face." Zora added.

Orion nuzzled her back. Good luck He stood up, and stretched. Shaking the leaves out of his rusty fur, he laughed, and smiled a warming smile at his friend.

Zora stood as well, "I guess I'll go hunt something, care to tag along or are you good here?" She asked, raising her head to the smells of the forest.

Orion shrugged. Sure, I guess I'll come He shoved her playfully. Come on! With that, Orion took of. He bounded over the rocks, and things in his way, glancing back every so often, just to make sure Zora was following.

Zora let out a laugh snarl and bounded after him, her stride trying to match his. She ducked down another path she knew and ran across a fallen tree, jumping down next to Orion. She laughed as she ran alongside of him, their paws beating as one.

Stopping in his tracks, he got low, and crawled under some fallen trees, tracking the sent of a deer. The deer stood, not knowing the danger that lurked. It twitched, and tasted the air, and Orion knew that if he didn't make a move now, he'd lose it. In one, lightning fast motion, Orion was on the deer, and killed in instantly by sinking his long teeth into the neck. Guess I wasn't named Orion for nothing.

Zora paused, watching Orion make the quick kill of the deer. Her muscles twitched with anticipation of the hunt, but no other deer were in sight. She was impressed by Orion's fast, well thought out movement. They really were the silent killers. She didn't not approach, and instead stayed where she was. Some felines can be extremely territorial of their kills, although lions were raised to share the kill.

Don't be scared! You can have some, too. He didn't Wait for Zora to come over before he had started eating. He took a chunk of the hind leg, then stepped away, to make room for Zora.

Zora walked over and smiled brightly at him. "Thanks so much. Great kill." She said, bending down and sinking her teeth into the meaty belly of the beast, flavor flooding her mouth.

Thanks He said through his teeth, as he pulled more meat off the bones. Do they feed you well in a pride? He asked, as he had always wondered what group life was like.

Zora paused mid-chew and swallowed slowly. She sat up and pulled away from the meal, "From what I remember we'd do alright. Haven't been a pride for quite some time though." the dark lioness admitted.

Orion nodded. At least you could count on someone brining home something. Not just yourself. It seemed...nice. You know, I secretly wished I was a lion. When I was younger. He paused. I was on my own, and wished I had a big family, so there was always someone.

Zora smiled, looking up at her striped friend. "Well, you'll always be family to me. But I'm sure there's a tigress out there who will fall in love with you and you'll both start a family together. Then--there will always be someone there."

Orion did his best to keep the tears back. He walked close, and nuzzled Zora. Thank you, Zora. You're always family, too. My life is sorta like a star. Every time I seem to find others, they fade away, and I'm left in the dark. Your--Your the only Star that didn't leave me." He whispered in her ear. Stepping back, he shook himself, trying to make it look as if he wasn't crying just a little.

"I'll never leave you, my dear friend." Zora said, wiping away his tears with her paw. "Now, have things been faring with you lately? Have a den or territory yet?" She asked with a smile.
((OMG I'm so sorry! I thought I responded to this! Stupid Computer! >.> ))
