Zora nodded through gritted teeth, "Th-thanks." She growled, her head rolling to her side.

Zora woke a few hours later, testing each of her limbs and looking around. "Orion?" She asked looking for him. He must be out hunting she thought as she stood, seeing that her wounds had been mended. She could actually walk. She laid down to rest again, feeling a bit cold. That's when he arrived. "Orion." She said, smiling warmly at him. "Thank you so much for saving me, I don't know what I could have done if you hadn't been there."

Don't worry about that, right now, you need to focous on getting better. He soothed, as he eased in, warming her up. It's no problem, I would have helped even if I wasn't here.

Zora laughed quietly and rested her head on his side, closing her eyes and listening to his breathing. "You're going to make a tigress very happy one day." She murmured.

Orion snuggled, being cautious to steal clear of her wonds. He almost wanted to say something along the lines of "they all hate me," but opted no to. She had faith in him, and that was all he could ask for.

The next morning was warm, and sunny. The trees swayed in the breeze, and the chatter of small animals filled the air. Orion was inside the now-light den, where Zora lay I'm the conor, still in much pain. Orion had brought the forest cat back two times that night. He stood in the opening, making sure none came looking. Especially Luna, who he knew, would jump at the change to strike Zora wile she was down.

Orion greeted her with a nudge. The sun was high in the sky now, and the day was turning warmer. I slept fine, the cat came back two times last night, and said you were doing better. Orion glanced over to her, examining her healing wounds. How are you feeling?

Zora let out a sigh, relieved that she was on the mend, she sure felt a lot better. "I'm feeling stronger, much stronger." She whispered, "Orion." she said, speaking up more, walking in front of him and meeting his eyes, "You saved my life, I'm--I'm forever grateful." Zora slowly bowed her head, something that the prideful lioness never did. She did it when she was grateful, it was insignificant to some and important to others.

Orion was Honored, to have such a prideful, and self-dependent lion bow to him. Unsure of what to do, he bowed back. I'm just grateful that you lived. Not many survive falls like like--you're really something special. He told her. Orion paused. You know, you'll make a wonderful queen one day, if you ever settle down.

Zora looked up and smiled, "You're words make my heart swell." Her hid the shame of her, uh, condition in that smile. "You'll be a loving king, Orion." She whispered, her ears flicking from left to right, listening the the forest sounds behind her.
