Tulip dipped her pretty face, gracefully. "Zora. There are many stories my father has told me about your friendship"

Zora smiled, "Well that's good to hear, your father and I used to get into some trouble now and then." She said, casting a playful look at him.

I grinned, memories flooding my brain. Suddenly, a longing to be with Zora once more filled my body, making my nerves tingle.

Zora stood by the water's edge, smiling at Tulip, but her heart ached with the fact that Dolmio had started and family and Luna was the mother. With that thought in her mind, she caught Luna's scent on the wind, stirring a growl in her chest.
Zora didn't see Luna but she could smell her perhaps it was on Tulip or she was somewhere a bit of a ways off.

I smiled at Zora, remembering all the near times she had almost been seduced by me.

Luna came into view and walked along side of Dolmino and purred in his ear, reminding Zora her place. She licked her daughter on the head and shot Zora a cold glare. Zora rolled her eyes and shifted uncomfortably.

Tulip ducked her head, frowning and giving a small growl. She looked at Zora and instantly felt sorry for her. Dolmio however hugged Luna tight. "Mother" Tulip said coldly.

Luna pulled away from the hug and glanced over at her daughter, "Hmm? yes darling?" she asked, standing defiantly at Zora. The dark lioness gave Tulip a leveled stare, but was trying to be warm, it was just hard for her at the moment.

Luna stood and stretched, "Dolmio, I think Tulip and you should go hunting, it's getting late--don't you think?" She asked, still giving Zora the cold shoulder, barely acknowledging her.

"No" Tulip said. But i nodded, seeming to get the hint. "Tulip ..." I warned and we trotted off.

Luna smiled at her family and then turned coolly towards Zora, "What do you think you're doing?"
"Doing what?" Zora snarled, her claws out and ready.
"Hanging around my family." Luna snarled, taking a step forward. "Don't you see? Dolmio is mine and Tulip is the product of our love and passion--something you wouldn't understand."
Zora scoffed, trying to hide the pain she felt. "At least I'm confident in the love I have. I can trust those I love to love me back."
Luna snarled, "That's what you think. Dolmio loves me! I'm his queen!"
Zora let out a roar, lunging forward, "Don't you dare accuse me of being in love with your mate! I know what our relationship is like, it seems you're the only one who can't see what it truly is and that's why you're so scared! You think we'll run away together but I'd never do that. Not after knowing you've been with him!" Zora ran off and disappeared over the crest of the hill.
Luna ran off to be with her mate giving him a loving kiss, trying to calm her rage.
