Male Lion
I jogged lazily along the borders of my land, stopping to mark them every few hundred metres. I sprayed, left my scent, claw marks, spat and rubbed myself on most boulders and dried out trees. There were a few caves which i sprayed in, and the biggest main cave. I stopped here and peered in at my home. The dozens of birds i had caught were piled at the back, along with the fawn i had luckily spotted a few days ago. I stopped to snack on a parrot which had already been dead when i had found it.
I yawned, lying on my side. Water...
Standing up and shaking myself, i sniffed the air, smelling something new. Another ... another female. Cheetah or tiger ... maybe a lioness! I trotted out of the den and checked and then sprayed again, roaring my loudest to let anyone know i was there. I raked my claws down the cave wall, and shook out every inch of my mane and tail fluff.
I had to look amazing.

Lioness
I was sleeping lazly in a tree near a little stream. A long day of hunting will do that to you. It had been a wile sence I actually caught a real meal...mostly birds and small animals roamed this part of land. I wasn't compleatly asleep, when I lifted my droopy eye lids a crack and spotted another lion moving below me. A male lion! I sprang up, and sat gracefully, licking my red paws, just so that they would be perfect. I was very intrested in this new male, considering he wasn't Dalmio.

I knew she was above me but i didn't look up.
"Well, i can already tell your gorgeous, even by your atmosphere!" I smiled and finally looked at her. She WAS gorgeous, a sandy red lioness, slim and tidy, with beautiful eyes. "I was correct" I grinned flirtatiously.

I tilted my head, and laughed. He was a charm, I knew that right off the bat. He was very hadsome, and looked to keep himself very tidy as well. His mane was fluffy and dark, and his coat seemed full of life. I batted my eye lashes unknowingly, and leaped from the tree branches. I stood tow to toe with the large lion. I wasn't known to be shy around males, it was females that I didn't like too much. "Hi, I'm Summer." I said in his ear.

"I'm Zark. Your as beautiful as a summer day, i must say!" I winked at her, smiling softly. I touched noses and looked behind me, growling. "Sorry beautiful. There's this male i hate" I rolled my eyes and grinned again.

I blushed when he said his little rhyme. It wasn't like no one had called me beautiful before (or used my name as an analogy) But the way he said it, made me melt a little. His cold nose touched mine, but suddenly left, and I took a step back. He mentioned a male he hated, and I tilted my head. "Is it Dalmio?" I asked strait up.

"Dolmio, yeah" I nodded, narrowing my eyes. I smelled a bitter smell, but sickly sweet. "He must have been hunting" I frowned.

I nodded, trying to figure out what he meant. "What does it matter? You have a hole cave filled birds." I only knew this from the smell, and I may or may not have sneaked in and snatched one. It was one bird. How could he notice? I laughed, and took another step back.

I sucked in a breath, and smiled. So I guess he had noticed. OCD much? I walked a step closer, and winked. "Would you be too terribly upset if I was the thief?" I winked again.

I smiled. "We'll, that's good." I caughed awkwardly, and climbed back up the tree. "So tell me..." I paused to yawn. "Why don't you like Dolmio?" I was really trying to get a conversation going.
