Royal pushed me off, admitting that I was a bit scary. I laughed and rolled onto my back, staring up at the moon. "Yeah, you remember that." I winked and looked back at the stars. The sky looked so big. It was beautiful. So vast...I wondered what it would be like to fly, to reach the little lights in the sky. What did they look like up close? Were they really too far to reach? My mind wandered and I wondered if I should be getting home. Dolmio and Luna would worry, I was sure. And Royal's father was probably looking for him as well. I glanced over at the waterfalls. The moon reflected off of them and it looked utterly peaceful.

I lay down on my back next Imara, looking at the stars with her. She seemed to be wondering, and memorized by the little lights in the dark sky. "I was told that those little lights are pieces of heaven." I took a deep breath. "And the great big cats that fought against the elephants are there, watching from them." I gazed up again, and became memorized my self.

My paws were folded on my chest as I looked up at the stars. Royal started to speak so my head rolled to look at him. Pieces of heaven...I liked that. It made me think that if I ever lost someone, they would still be there in the sky, watching over me. He continued, saying that the warriors who fought the elephants, the ones all cubs are told about at a young age, were there on the stars. "That's nice..." I sighed, smiling as I thought about it. The night was so peaceful. The sound of the waterfall, resting here on my back under the stars with my new friend, the moon shining down over the water and Royal and I...
But I knew my time was running out. And if I didn't get up now, I'd probably fall asleep here and my father would kill me when I returned. I resolved to telling him I had been out walking alone and lost track of time, and that when I started back it was getting dark already. He would assume I was out at the farthest point of his land. But I wanted to keep this night between Royal and I. It just felt more magical that way. I sighed heavily and rolled onto my stomach. "I really should get home..." I said with disappointment coloring my tone. "We should meet here again, though." I said with a smile. I liked the idea of having this spot to hang out with my new friend.

The two of us lay there, looking up my pieces if heaven. I told my story, and Imara seemed to like it. I didn't know if it was true....but who cares? A shooting star crossed the sky, and I silently wished that we could do this again. We lay like this for a wile, until Imara says she needed to go home. I understood that. My father would probably want me home too. But it still made me sad to have to leave my new friend. "I probably should be getting home as well." I said, standing up to face Imara. She said we should do this again, but keep it a little secret. I smiled at the thought. "Ya, we really should do this again." I sighed, but with a smile on my face. It really was time to go home....I gave Imara a hug that I wish I had kept longer, and told her that I would see her soon.
