Tanni sneered at Korra, "see I've got all the angles! I thought I also heard you say that you wanted to kill Kalu!" I snarled, and advanced to her slowly, my mouth hung open, and my claws stuck out. "I gave you a chane to be an actual good mother, but its your fault you turned it down!" She growled, preparing to lunge.

I took short breaths. I knew she would kill me, and I was ok with it. Her killing me earns her nothing, other than a temperary pride, if that. It's one thing to kill for purpose, and another as punishment. This was just sencless. And so was taking my cubs. It teaches nothing, other than fear, and I guess that's what she wanted to cause. My emotions were mixed and I was unsure if she actually was going to kill me, or send me away, and clame my family as prize. Really, I didn't care anymore. It was a lose lose situation, either way she got my cubs. Sure I didnt need to die, but it was the best option. If she killed me, the other tiger and lion would be shire never to let her near my den. My kids would grow up, raised by cheetahs. And I gave you a chance to explain yourself. I sneered back. You know, killing me will earn you nothing. I paused for a reaction. You're sick, and low, and should be ashamed to call your self a Tiger. What good will come from taking my cubs? They can't fight, or hunt. And like you said, there scrawny. And I would have been OK if you had told me what you wanted them for. It would have never come to this. I sighed at the end, and prepared myself for the end.

"I just heard everything you said, Tanni. And guess what? Your taking no one. The cheetahs will live with me" Cad snarled.
"Leave now and I won't tell Orion" He snapped. Dolimo was waiting with the cheetahs.
"Korra, you and your family will stay in my den. Asali can join us and myself and Dolmio will keep watches guarding you" Chad said.
"Tanni, your sick. Leave now and I'll never tell Orion. If you ever come near the cheetahs again ... I can snap Kalus neck very slowly" I threatened.

My body was braced for the sharp claws, and white fangs to tear into me. And I was pretty sure Tanni was going to kill me slowly. She would most likely break my legs, so i couldn't run away, take my tongue so i couldn't speak, and let me bleed out slowly. The air felt still, and the sound of waterfalls thundered through the silence. Misty haze settled near the foliage, and puddles of water lay about. I took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly, as I felt Tanni preparing to pounce. A voice penetrated the sound of the thundering. It was Chad commanding Tanni to stop. I sided in relief. My heart started beating more regularly, and my eyes gained there normal calmness. I dint say anything, but only gave a look to Chad. I was truly glad that he had saved me.
