Starting Over -Ice Vel-

Ice Vel walked. She was tired and hungrey, her fur was muddy and her tail was limp. She had passed many territories. The tigers, who chased her off in and instant, the cheetahs, who corned her in a swamp, and the lions, who ambushed her in the tall grass. She had crossed deserts an jungles, hugs body's o water and deep gorges. An right now she was just exhausted. But she had found her spot, in the mountains, away from all the hate. She had foind her home, she was starting over.

Ice Vel woke with a start, she had fallen asleep. She cleared her throat and got up, the sun just rising. She walked up to a stream, the rocks were smooth at the bottem. The clear water winded down the Bally, and right in the center, was a lake, a beauful crystal blue lake. Te mountains rose in the background, and the greenery was lush and full of prey. She washed herself clean and climbed into the oak. It was easy to climb, with many branches. Flowers surrounded underneath.

*first up, a den* she thought to herself and padded down into the Valley. The slope was steep at first but gently slowed and hit a deep forest. She padded towards the lake and off to the side, nearest to her, was a big willow tree. She trotted under it, the drooping branches covered everywhere so she couldn't see out. The ground was soft dirt, and she began to dig, she dug deeper and deeper, creating a small tunnel and a big chamber. She again washed her paws and trotted off for food

Food was easy to find. She stood in a tree, and dropped down on a doe. Killing it almost instantly. She dragged it back to her den, but had a different idea. In the middle of the lake was a small island. She swam over and again dug a shallow tunnel with a big chamber. She ate her fill and brought the rest of te carcass down the tunnel. She set it in the tunnel,. She put a rock over top. As the animals got wet from the swim, their smell was covered, and she hoped the heavy rock would keep out others. The tiny mound was covered in flowers, now complete ur covering up the scent of kill. She swam back and cloned up the valley to the oak. She sat in its branches and watched the world around her.

Chad wandered over to the Oak, stomach rumbling. He was panting slightly from the weather and as she leaped onto branch, he dozed off into a light sleep.

"She noticed the male leap up beneath her. Her dappled fur blended in to the splotchiness from the sun through the leaves. She saw this male was not like her, and he was a tiger. A BIG tiger. Her eyes blazed as he recalled how tigers had tried to kill her. She lifted her lips and a snarl peat ice the air. She didn't wake him, gladly, but she had a plan to chase him out be fore he stole her food.

Keeping my eyes closed, I pricked my ears and stayed silent, inching my way along the branch.
I kept my eyes on her, frowning.

Ice Vel hopped down and landed on the soft floweres. She padded off and watched him silently. She wasn't going to fight, and I wasn't sure if he had noticed me. I watched him cautiously, waiting in the tall flowers

I made eye contact with the attractive snow leopard and nodded once.
"Hello. I'm Chad. I wont hurt you, darlin'"

Ice Vel hissed a response, her ears held back and her muscles tense. She snarled, but stayed where she was.
"Why are you here chad?" She spat. Her eyes relaxed and were friendly, and her brain urged her body to do the same, but she didn't move. "I'm Ice Vel" she repeated again slowly.

"Just for a sleep. Didn't know it was your territory, Ice Vel" I said, dipping my muzzle.

"We'll, it is" she snapped lightly, her tone tuning down. "I mean, it's been for a while"

"Oh" I said, getting up, back cracking as always when i stretched and yawned.

"I've got a kill over their"she spoke slowly, and flicked her ears in the direction. "If your hungrey, you can have some". Ice Vel walked towards him, stopping about a metre away.
