I lay on my side, the air cool and refreshing around me.
I looked into the water, seeing fish dart about and a mysterious shape. No one ever went in that water. There was crocodiles and a reported hammer head shark.
I bent to take a quick drink and jumped back a long snout snapped at mine. I roared and the snout dissapeared under the water.

Sharjah wasn't lost, she knew this was another territory. She saw the lion she had spent so long lolling for, she wanted to join his pride. She padded forward, but stopped, noting getting close to the huge male. "I want to join your. Pride" she whispered frightfully, if this male wanted to fight her, she would die quickly, she was not a good fighter.

I turned around and was shocked. A pretty white lioness was standing before me, shaking slightly.
"Word travels fast, eh gorgeous? Well, sure, you can join my pride, darling. But first i think i should get to know you, hmm?" I smiled, walking over to her.

I crouched lower. This male was all muscles! His gleaming black fur was astonishing to her yellow eyes. His huge mane towered around him, and she couldn't help but flatten her ears, in embaressment, she knew he had a queen, but she did feel slightly disappointed at that, although it don't show. "I'm Sharjah" she said

"I'm Dolmio. So, you want to join my pride? Me and Luna would be honoured to have you" I backed down a little, smiling softly.
"You must know i have a Queen. But i do give my other pride members attention" I winked.

The white lioness smiled and slowly stood up. This was probly the most friendliness lion she has met. "Aha but not too much" I winked back, gaining my confidence.

"ID love to!" She said happily, standing up and actually trusting the handsome black male. "I'm really good at hinting" she continued on, "but I'm not a good fighter"

"I'm just a wanderer. I've been like that forever. Nobody accepted me beaciase I was white, and all the other lions were the normal sandy brown. I've never seen a white before, let alone a black.

Her eyes raised, she loved the colour white. "I guess I've always wanted to be in a pride, to have a family" she thought aloud, "I've always wanted to have cubs"
