"Mind if I use that one?" Se asked politely. "You'd be welcome by whenever you want, as well as Luna"

I nodded. "Well, I'm happy to have you with me" I puzzled her.

"Me too!" I laughed happily. Do you mind if I hint?"

"Not at all" I said huskily, smiling alluring.

"Thank you!" She murred happily. Sharjah shook her creamy white fur. She padded off, to a part of territory near them. She blended in pretty well with the tall dry grass. She crouched low, a small heard of antelope splayed across a slope in front of her.

I sat down, hoping she didn't know this was a test. I watched her crouch, the slow, caring movements of her body, sleek and agile through the tall grass. I saw her ears prick and her nose twich.

Sharjah crouched lower, her fur hidden. She scanned the herd. One buck, 2 females, and a fawn. She licked her lips and evaluated them carefully. The buck had long twisted horns, was healthy and to strong for her. The 2 females seemed healthy enough. Although one had a slight limp, although not noticeable. The fawn, was perfect!

I stayed close by, ready to run after her if the buck got agressive. I noticed her picking the fawn and nodded. I willed her on, wincing when a twig cracked and the buck's ears pricked. They didn't move though.

She shot him a look when he cracked the branch. *the slope is to steep to run up* , she thought to herself, trying to figure the best way to kill. The slope made a small dent at the bottem before heading to the trees. *just get them up the slope, and away from the trees* she urge herself, picking through the grass, stepping lightly. The bug waved its head around, looking for the source of the twig crack. He stamped his foot, only ending up on top of the hill, back to their calm state. Sharjah stalked forward, her tail down as she headed up the slope, still outta view. With not a sound, she lept up and caught the smaller female in the side, her clean swipe, knocking her away from the fawn as the minute herd bolted. She lept off towards the fawn, chasing him down. Zig-zags and claws, cutting off the fawn and pouncing. It was over quick. By the time Dolmio got over to her, she had the fawns muzzle in her strong jaws, shaking him, even though he was gone.

I smiled. "Nice kill, Sharjah" I agreed, sitting down. I remembered the way she dived for the fawn, the arc her body made as it shot through the air.

She nodded her respect, and shook the deer one last time. She didn't like being complimented, it embarrassed her. He stood back without saying a word. Always the pride lions ate first, leaving the rest to the lionesses and the cubs.

I waited for her to drop the kill and then walked over and ripped of the two front legs. I dragged them over a little and feasted. I stood up, yawned and motioned for Sharjah to eat.

I smiled and dove in, the warm kill still lingering in the air, the juicy meat pierced by her strong fangs.

I watched her eat. It was like i couldn't stop staring at her beauty. "So. Fancy me showing you your cave?"

"Sure! Come on" she happily purred. Sharjah trotted off, waving her tail to follow.
