We Need All The Help We Can Get -LOKI-

Dolmio raised his eyebrows.

7 felines appeared from the hazy smoke. Some where scared and worried, while others where curios. They small group was lead by Ronin, a black tiger, then Valen, King, Konnor, Sharjah, Tanni, and ice Vel. They pulled up to Dolmio, but most broke up into groups, Seeing there friends or loved ones.

Dolmio commanded the group off to search and kept looking.

Sharjah and Valen
The white female padded towards Luna, ducking her head from all the noise and unknown felines. She trotted beside her, keeping a look out for Zark, but listening to the commands given by Dolmio. Valen padded on the other side of Luna, but still mingling friendly with the others.

Tanni and Konnor

Tanni stood protectively beside Konnor, not letting him out I her sight. She received many huffs from him, and the fiery cub wasted no time looking around for others his size.


Ice Vel and King
The two waked at the back, silently surveying the deadly surroundings.

Ronin

Ronin growled and stood directly beside Dolmio, staring straight and scouring his claws into the earth each time he stepped down.

Dolmio growled and stopped. Chino gasped. The main river in the Spreading Oak had dried up.

Valen and Sharjah
The 3 white lions padded in a row, and the sight made Sharjah stop in fear. Her body shook, how would they drink? It gets hot out here! Valen smiled calmly, keeping a cool attitude, and a protective growl came from him deep in his stomech. He moved closer to Luna, and nodded as if to say its all right.

Tanni, Konnor, Ice Vel, and King

They all stopped and gasped from their friends. Mixed thoughts where shared, and many moans in grief filled the air. They looked at Dolmio for reassurance, but twisted their ears to Ronin, as he stepped out ahead if Dolmio.

Ronin

Ronin growled as they stopped, but padded over first, to the dry bed. He sniffed the ground and pushed the dirt away from his pawprints. The black tiger panted as he dragged out the dry, crumbling earth, creating a hole the size if his head. With a huff, he clawed up extra sand, and pressed down hard on the bottem of the hole. Dirty, brown water seeped through, but barely enough for a mouthful. "The water is under very deep!" Ronin Declared, as if he was commanding a troop. "It'd take too long to dig enough water for all of us, we have to keep moving to another water source. Lets hope water is there!"

Dolmio hissed, stepping in front of Ronin again. It was his land, after all. It was his idea to do this. He wasn't going to let Ronin do anything. Chino narrowed his eyes at Ronin. He seemed the full-of-himself type. Chino instantly felt sorry towards Dolmio. How dare Ronin act like he was the boss. "Ronin" Chino said quietly, eyes burning with annoyance.

Tanni

"He's right you know, there isn't any water here." Tanni stepped up to Dolmio, speaking gently, in case he thought that she was being rude or defiant. She nodded again, "his attitude isn't perfect, but he's right". She padded back, reassuring many thirsty faces.

J U M A

The longer my group and I walked, the more discouraged I felt. We just weren't finding much. Apart from a faint scent of something new to the area a few hundred yards back, we had nothing. I turned back to the group. "Throw in your opinions if you disagree, but I think we should go back to where we found that scent, and work from there." I shrugged, meeting each other cats eyes. I wouldn't be a jerk just because I was commander of the group. It simply wasn't my personality.

I M A R A

My feet were starting to hurt. I glanced at Chad, wondering how much longer it would be until we found something useful, or we gave up and headed back to wait for the others.

Dolmio frowned at Tanni. "I know he is Tanni. I found it"

Chad turned to face his group. "I think it's time we all met up again. With 3 groups, one of them may have found something"

"We should maybe go back with Dolmio's group" Zark suggested to Juma.

Tanni nodded and sat down. She wasn't find of the lion, let alone any feline besides tigers that is. Her golden coat glinted in the sun as she listened to the many voices.

Zark suggested we rejoin Dolmio. I hesitated, really wishing we could have found something, but eventually nodding in agreement. "Okay, we'll head back to the meeting place." After all, we would have other chances to search. I turned around and led my group back.

Chad announced that we would meet up with the others. I nodded, in complete agreement. I didn't want to be out here, anyway.

Dolmio smiled tightly at the groups as they came back. "Find anything?"

"Nothing" Chad and October sighed in unison.

The groups were gathering as I led my own back to the meeting place. Dolmio smiled, though I sensed that it was merely a way of greeting everyone, rather than hope or joy. He asked everyone if we'd found anything. I looked at Chad and October as they voiced their lack of findings. My eyes went back to Dolmio and I shook my head. It seemed we were all in the same boat.

There was an almighty, distant roar. Every head turned left and screamed. At least a mile away, fire lit up the sky. "The dragon" Lacy's eyes were wide as she gasped the words.
