Ice Vel opened her eyes when he answered, he replied so quickly, that the spotted fea flattened back her ears, and looked around to make sure it wasn't a trap. She kept her ears alert, but focused her eyes on him. He contined on, more so, politely. He talked of creating a leap, a structural group. She thought for a second, does she want to be part of his pack? Or does she want to be solitary? She hadn't really thought of it before, and the suggestion he was hinting at stunned her. She liked Juma, he was a gentlemen, and she wanted to be with him. Ice Vel spoke in a cunning tone, "A leap? It would be my honour to join". She smiled and flicked her tail.

My sudden outburst seemed to startle Ice Vel, so I gave her an apologetic smile. She didn't answer me right away, appearing to be deep in thought. Then she spoke, agreeing and saying she was honored to join me. "I'm honored to have you," I responded, ducking my head in a bow. I controlled my excitement, but I couldn't hide the sparkle in my eyes as my head came back up and I met hers. Finally! My own leap was growing! I had someone to come home to and to talk to and spend my days with! And a beautiful one at that. Ice Vel was a true beauty and as far as I could tell, had a personality to match. "I'll be the envy of all the males," I told her. "You're very beautiful, if I may be so forward." I didn't want to offend her, and I hoped she realized I was trying to flatter her, rather than take advantage of her or something along those lines.

The snow leopard's eyes sparkled at Juma's reaction. She laughed and dipped her head Politely. She dropped down onto the branch the he was on, and it bent slightly at the unexpected weight. Ice shared his excitement, and she too felt proud to be apart of this new leap. She briefly thought about Juma, would he fall for a different Leopard? She shook the thought from her head, glad just to be in his presence. She twitched her nose, and didn't know how to reply, she hadn't ever been complimented before. With a nod of thanks she licked her great white paws, and was glad that Juma was a gentleman, with class.

I watched Ice with a sparkle in my eye. I was feeling rather lucky, to have this beautiful female to join me in my land. She didn't say anything in response to my compliment, but I got the feeling it was new for her. I found the idea mind-boggling. I made a mental note to remind her of the fact often. "Would you care to see your new home now?" I asked her, ready to show Ice Vel what I had acquired for us. I felt as if I were about to give her a present and wanted to see her reaction to it. Would she like living near the waterfalls? I could see her now, standing on the edge of the water, her bright white coat reflecting on the crystal clear water in the moonlight. It was a lovely picture. And then there was the grass fields, where she could hunt as much as she wanted, or simply relax in the grass. She could climb the trees there, or the rocks and things at the waterfalls. I hoped she liked them both.

Ice wondered about her, er... Their territory. She would have to get used to another feline around, but she knew I would be easy, Juma was really kind and cared about everyone, making her feel equal. As if he read her thoughts, she heard a rather excited voice, explaining of their new borders. The snow leopard laughed, and briefly caught Juma's eyes, enough to melt her. She blinked the thoughts away, they where just friends, and Juma didn't like her that way, which helped her generate the thought if how she didn't either. With a flick of her tail, she waited for him to lead, Eager to see the land.

Her laugh echoed in my mind and I felt myself smile in return, my eyes dancing with excitement. This was a day I would remember for years to come, the end of a previously lonely existence. And I felt something growing with Ice Vel already. A budding friendship. Maybe even more, though I didn't want to get ahead of myself. I'd only just met the female after all. However...maybe it was just meant to be? I'd already admitted an attraction to her. Nevertheless, it was time to take her to our home. I nodded. "Follow me," I told her with a grin. Before long we had reached my part of the grass field, an area of decent size good for hunting, and marked with my scent to warn other males that this area was claimed. A rabbit hopped along in the distance, unaware of our presence, and various trees dotted a beautiful green landscape. Mimosas with vibrant purple flowers, and tall, old oak trees with branches perfect for climbing, which I hoped Ice would like.

I turned to Ice Vel. "What do you think?" I asked, hopeful that she would like it. Later, around dusk, I would show her the waterfalls. Evening and nighttime were the best times to see the waterfalls, in my opinion. Besides, I wanted to get to know her a little.
