Female Cougar/Puma


I lay in the snowdrops, head resting lazily on my large paws. I yawned and looked around, ears pricked. I got up lazily, walking slowly, admiring the snowdrops and bluebells. I counted the small patches of poppies and daisy, thinking what a beautiful field this was.
I spotted a rabbit hopping through the stems but i left it. A few hours ago i had filled up on fish. It wasn't my favourite meal but it was quite tasty!

I ran merrily through the flowers, sending tons of poppyseed, and bluebells flying. The smelt wonderful, and I gradually slowed to a walk, so I could get a better smell. But I smelt something other that flowers in this Feild. I recognized it as my friend, October, and a smile crossed my face. I had had a crush on her for a wile, though I never told her. I liked being friends. I trotted up to her, and layed down, starting to roll over on her. I laughed, and said hello.

Stella paused. She had silently followed the male cougar, seeing many other felines, but not any cougars. She saw him leap in the field, and her senses quickly picked up a female. The 2 newcomers excited her, and she trotted out, loosely with her ears perked forward friendly. Her cinnamon fur was lighter in the sun, and the Bally of flowers coated her creamy paws, wrapping her in a array of pretty scents. Stopping only about 2 metres away, she stood still, waving her tail in eagerness. The 1 year old blinked and tilted her head. "Hello! I'm Stella!" She purred, eyeing the handsome male and pretty female. "I've never met you, but I'd gladly like to know you!"

October got up, frowning, startled by all the comotion. She reconized Ghost and smiled at him and then looked at the other female. She was smaller and thinner than October, so she must be younger. "Hello. October's my name" I smiled shyly and looked down then back at Ghost. "Not seen you in a while, Puma Boy" I smiled and then looked back at Stella. "What age are you, sweetie?" I asked gently, in case she really was older than me.

I rolled around, until October got up, and welcomed this new cougar again. The female was a cinnamon color, and smaller than October. October called me a name, and I stood up, smiling at them both.

"So, how have yous all been?" I smiled, sitting down, tail curling around my paws.

I smiled, grasses stuck to my fur. The three of us all faced eachother, in a triangle form. "I've been fine. Lonley, though. "

"Guess we change that, eh?" I grinned.

I smiled, then turned my attention to the seemingly young puma. "Im Ghost." I said with a wink. It was a beautiful day, it wasn't all that hot, and not very humid. Prey was looming, and maybe the others were in the mood fror a hunt.

"Anyone else hungry?" I asked, looking at Ghost and Stella.

[SORA :D]

" Hay!" I said, a look of relization on my face. "Why don't we all go on a hnt together!" I looked over at this new cougar. "We would get to know you better."

I smiled, nodding and turned around, already trotting off.

"hay wait!" I hollered as I motioned for the other cat to come along. I sprinted through the flowers, on,y slowing when I reached October.

I kept running and soon enough my eyes landed on a small herd of wildebeast. There was a young male at the front, mating with a female. The others were dotted around, grazing or dozing. It was easy to sneak up on a plump female and crack her skull, but i wanted more. I chased after the herd, leaping on the young male. I weighed him down but he kicked and bucked, body writhing under me. I yowled and hissed and he stopped in fear then started again. He kicked me on my leg and i was rolled off.

I was right behind October, and following her moves. She ran into the wildebeest heard, guns blazing, and needed up getting hurt. The male wildebeest was now with his female again, and I was belly down in the grass, closing in on them. When I felt close enough, I chirped to October, and started my attack. I sprang out of the flowers, and latched onto the male's neck, sinking my teeth in. I waved my tail, calling for back-up.
