Setting

Big Cats is set on a world without humans. The world is split into lots of different domains. There will be African like areas, then Scottish areas where all is mucky and soggy. There will be freezing, North Pole areas. The weather is split into North, East, South and West and is listed in the end side bar. December 22.12.13 - So, this is when (after about 5 months of BC being un-active) I decided to get it on it's paws again. I am looking for a new start because it's the New Year, which means a new theme, layout and new admin. That's right. After many family and personal problems, I now have the time over Christmas to get things tidied up around here. About time, eh?
April 4.4.14 - We are trying to pick up activity. Emily, you're very much missed and we can't wait for you to come back. Until then, I, Nami, will be stepping in until Emily comes back. So, hopefully when Emily comes back, she'll be greeted by many new and old members. Happy Spring!

So, as far as leopards go, how do the groups work here? In the wild I know they just mate and the females raise the cubs; they don't stay together, but I know most rps don't follow that. So are we doing it like a pride, one male and multiple females..? Either way, doesn't matter to me, just curious since I'm going to play a male leopard.

I'll throw my two cents in, but I thought that leopards did, err, could live together when prey was plentiful. I know that it's not a regular thing, but our local zoo has 2 or 3 leopards in an enclosure, and from what I see, they're happy. (Yay, zoo circumstances are a little different...) But I think that the groups would be totally acceptable because it -could- happen, but it doesn't....if that makes sense? haha, I probably have no business in this. I guess I'll have to make a leopard now...

Yeah, they're kind of like wild cheetahs...Wikipedia says that the males and females have home ranges that sometimes overlap. And I guess they just mate when it's time and the female raises the cubs alone.

But yeah! At my big cat site, War Stripes, I just allow family groups of leopards because y'know, better for a roleplay if they don't just occasionally come across each other since it is only SEMI realistic.

lol Sora, you DO have a leopard but you're KILLING her. =P haha.
