Name: Juma Age: Four Years Species: Leopard Gender: Male PersonalityJuma is a gentleman. He is usually very respectful of other males, and especially females. He hasn't had much practice with cubs, so it's sure that if it ever happens for Juma, he'll be pretty incompetent at fatherhood, at least at first. He has a big heart, though, and he knows he won't be able to resist falling in love with them. Juma is a 'talk it out' type, rather than a fighter, but he will stand up for his family. If there is someone he feels protective over, such as a female or a cub, or even a young male, Juma will stand in the way to protect them. His favorite thing to do is climb up into a tree and stare at the sky. He likes the peacefulness of it, and can think much more clearly when he's up in the air away from everything else. If he has a big decision to make, that's where you'll find him. LooksJuma is a sandy tan color with a stripe of light reddish tint down his back and the top of his head, and down his tail, but the tint fades to white at his stomach. He has beautiful golden eyes that could melt any female, and black outlining them that makes them pop. His spots are mostly the reddish color, with black circles around them that are all in different shapes. Juma's nose is a pinkish orange color and his chin is white. PastThe male leopard was born in a family group, with a father and mother and two other cubs. His life was simple and he grew up healthy. His mother taught him to respect his sisters, and all females, and his dad taught him to speak respectfully to older males. He was raised in a somewhat strict environment but rarely rebelled. When he was older, he realized that he was kept out of trouble and survived this way. However, when Juma and his sisters had reached a year old, his youngest sister decided she did not like the rules, and went out alone to explore. A male lion found her and killed her in protection of his territory. Juma's mother was heartbroken, and Juma felt the need to do something about it. Before he could, his father went out and spoke with the lion, first to tell him what he'd done to his family, and then to demand he leave and apologize. The lion killed him too. Juma decided confrontation was not the answer. Juma continued to grow healthy and for the most part happy as well, apart from the loss of his sister and his father and mentor. When he was four, he set out on his own. He's spent most of his time alone, but now he has a longing to start his own family. He feels ready to have his own cubs and his own territory.
