I lay on the dirt floor of the den, breathing heavily, and panting. *why do I feel like this--what's happening!!* I said to myself, as I rolled over onto my side, trying to ease the pain. I was unbelabibly hot, and my fur coat was not helping at all. There was a slight breeze coming through the den, but only enough to make me feel like I wasn't 2000 degrees.

I walked casually and slowly into the den until i saw Korra under stress.
I ran over, frowning.
Checking her body, i saw a cub beginning to protrude.
"Korra ... your giving birth" I said in disbelief.

She was shocked just as much Winks was. She didn't say anything, just kept doing what her instinct told her to do.

I helped deliver the cubs, encouraging Korra and ripped the sac off of their faces.
Hugging them close, i brought my 2 beautiful babies over to Korra and left, sprinting off in search of food. I came back a few minutes later with 2 adult rabbits and a baby hare.
I laid them down by Korra and licked her affectionately.
"Two gorgeous cubs" I whispered to her, staring down at them lovingly.

I marveld at how well Winks handled delivery. He ran off, and brought back rabbit, which I consumed one of the adults. The little cubs whimpered and whined, but there fluffy faces were adorable. Nice Job.

"I could say the same for you" I laughed and then nuzzled my - our - cubs.
"Look honey. A boy and a girl" Nipping Korra's ear, i smiled and then watched as the female rolled over.
"Tamara. Just like a little Queen" I whispered to her, nudging her.
I noticed with pride that our male was a King cheetah.

I was exhausted, but licked Winks on his forehead. "Our little prince, and princess." I liked at the female, named Tamara, and noticed that she look just like Winks. "They are gorgeous."

"We should name our little prince ... Royal" I said, smiling slightly.

I rolled over, and examined the cubs. The male was a king cheetah, just like me. "Royal is perfect. The perfect name for a king."

I smiled.
"Now we can spend the rest of our life together" I looked into Korra's eyes lovingly.

I nodded, and then licked his nose. "I am very thirsty, would it be ok for me to get some water?"

"Of course" I nodded, standing to help her up.
When she was gone, i took my cubs and sat them up. They could stand on wobbly little paws and i pressed my foreheads to their's, breathing deeply.
A blessing.

The water was cool, and refreshing. It teased better than normal. The field was lunch, and green, and the beautiful flowers added to the occasion. I walked over to the den, just o see Winks loving his babies. "Tamara looks just like you." I said, as I slowly walked back in the den.

"Well Royal is the exact image of you, my darling" I laughed, running over to her and spinning her around, smiling so much my cheeks hurt.

I laughed as he spun me around. Royal and Tamara were exactly what we had hoped for. Now, they just need to survive. I was so dizzy by the time we stopped spinning, that I almost fell into one of the walls of the den. I sat there, when I heard there little Cruz. I walked over, picked them up by the ruff of there necks, and encouraged them to feed.
