She heard the waterfall, still step in step with him. "Do you have a mate?" She asked, they started to slow a bit. Now trotting. "Huh Big Guy?". Tanni nuzzled him just as they stopped, the waterfall rushing above.

Orion loved the water, and the sounds of the waterfall made him so happy inside. He almost didn't here Tanni over the sound of the thundering water. No He said, not even looking at Tanni. His head was raised, and he took a deep breath of the misty air.

Tanni purred and pawed the bubbly water. The mist coated her whiskers and she took a long, slow drink. It foamed around her jaws and she stuck her head up to breath. Her fur was soaked by the end, but she took another drink, soaking up the warm sun as the cool wind breezed.

Without thinking, Orion hurled himself into the water. He splashed, and sprinted, but stopped when he saw that Tanni wasn't following. Come on! Not scared of a little water, are we? He teased.

"Scared? Me?" She laughed and launched into him, bringing them both into the water. They disappeared for a few seconds, and she swam up. Her flattened gold fur looked darker than it actually was. When Orion emerged she nipped his ears and swam into him, pawing her way onto his back as the current swirled them. She hung on and tried to drag him down again. Laughing playfully.

Orion laughed, and played along. He had dent had this much fun in months. He paddled strongly keeping them both above the water, and teased Tanni with his tail, as she nipped his ear.

Tanni hissed, pretending to be mad at his tail. She swam faster, pulling ahead if him and lashing her tail in mock annoyance. Tanni stifled a laugh and surged through the slightly calmer water. She was inviting him to follow her, to pull her down into the water, to just have fun.

Orion accepted the invitation. The water was calmer here, and it was less work to keep from drowning. The tackled her, and pulled her down, not too hard, but enough to take her under with him.

She swirled around, feeling and clinging to him. She swam into him, pushing him, siding them tumbling into shallow water. She could stand, the water just under her shoulders. Orion lay beneath her, still under the murky water. She laughed and pulled him up gently.

He shook himself, and snorted the water out of he noise. Thanks, for the swim. I'm just sad that it has to stop.

"Of course! After all, it is my territory. " she teased and shook her off. "What's on the menu?" . She sat and stared to lick herself dry

He rolled his eyes, and shook again, his muscles flexing slightly. Whatever you want, gorgeous. He smiled slyly, and awaited an answer.

"Mmmmhhh" she licked her lips and stalked up to him. "How about some deer?" She flicked her ears and curled her tail, but than she added, "Handsome", before turning away and padding off.

Orion nodded, and whent off.
-2 hours later-
Orion padded back with a 6 point buck, and threw it on the ground. Alright, here's some deer. He stepped back, so Tanni could eat.

"Aww thank you!" She said gratefully, per icing the flesh with hr fangs, sliding through the tender meat. Blood filled her nose as she tugged t the carcass. For a tiger, it was hard to get a meal, and she was genuinely impressed with this skillful catch.
