Luna gave King a sorry glance, licking her maw for a moment before turning back to her mate, trying to distract him.

King laughed at her antics, and layer down, flopping his head onto his paws and sticking his tail straight out behind him.

Man, had it been a long time sense I hade seen King. Between leaving Winks, and everything, I had dent had time to visit him, and tell him the news... Our cubs were a miscarriage. I knew he would hate it, but at least now I didn't have to worry about Winks, so we could try again.

I padded my way to his territory, happiness and excitement welling up in me, causing me to run, all the way to the bushes, where I heard talking, and smelt two lions, and...King!? I slowed down, and crept up, listening to the conversation. I waited for my moment, then walked gracefully onto the scene. "King! It's so great to see you!" I exclaimed, licking him on the cheek. I then turned to Dolmio and Luna. "Dalmio, I don't believe I ever gave you a real thanks, for saving my cubs that time ago." I laughed,meowing to both him, and his queen, before taking a place next to my own mate.

King watched as the 2 lions talked, and he listened intently. The brush near him quivered and he stood up, pricking his ears and sniffing lightly. As they parted, a beautiful Cheetah padded out, and licked his cheek. He turned to his beloved mate, and nuzzled her, happy to see her after so long. "My, welcome Korra, it's a pleasure to see you after so long," king said poliomyelitis, dipping his head. "How are the cubs? I've looked for you, but couldn't seem to find you", he asked, tilting his head.

There it was. Guilt. How could I tell him about the miscarriage, if he was looking forward to seeing cubs that weren't around! But tha same, I hugged him, and expressed him much I had missed him. "Sorry for my little disappearing act." I added a happy smile, but became serious. He had to know, he had the right to know. "Umm, can we go somewhere a little more private?" I asked, looking behind me.

[Nami]

Luna eyed the two cheetahs and frowned, noticing the look of guilt and grief on the she cheetah's face. Something what up. She nudged Dolmio and began to walk away, "Nice talking to you all." She said breezily, no longer wanting to be around the two.

[SORA :D]

"I apologize, Luna, but this is really important." I half smiled, before whisking King away.

King had a confused look on his face, but nodded towards the lions and thanking them for coming. Peered behind Korra, looking for his cubs to pop out from behind the bushes. He saw Korra's face, but still didn't know what to expect.

[SORA :D]

I hoped that King would be mad. I knew how long he had waited, an it would come as a blow. I sighed, and looked him in the eyes. "About the cubs..." I stuttered, following his gaze to the bushes, and I sighed, looking at the ground.

"Korra?" King asked gently, and turned her head forward so he could look into her eyes. They stayed like this for a few minutes, and Kingd searched her eyes, looking for an answer. He saw grief and loss. King dropped his head, flattened his ears and let out a weak smile., "it's ok Korra, we'll be alright." He said softly, and in a low tone.

[SORA :D]

I returned the weak smile, and went in for a hug. We'de be Ok. It's not like we couldn't try again. I breathed a sigh of relief, a that was much easier than I had expected.

King hugged her back, mixed emotions crossing his mind, but his expression was blank. He sighed inwardly and licked Korra, before laying down.

I knew King was upset. I mean, who wouldn't be? We both wanted cubs, so it came as a blow to him. But he was taking this surprisingly well.

Inside, king was crushed, but feeling sorry and whining would be no help at all. He knew they could have more cubs, and king looked forward to the time it would happen. He could still be happy, his chances if being a dad wasn't gone forever! He knew that getting angry wood help Korra none, especially with her past. He opened one eye and smiled at his thoughts.

King was always good at looking for the best in a difficult position. I came over and snuggled him, looking happily into his eyes. "I missed you." I said simply, putting my head on my paws.
